WATHÂ FESTIVAL 2023
28TH APRIL - 1ST MAY
WATH FESTIVAL
50TH ANNIVERSARY
50 years of Music, Arts and Community Events
Begun in 1973 by Wath Morris, Wath Festival has gone from strength to strength. From headline acts and household names to encouraging local and unknown artists it is a three day celebration of music and arts.
2023 sees the 50th anniversary of this well loved community festival. As usual there will be a full programme of events from the Friday night Ceilidh to a closing performance by the Sheffield Folk Chorale on Bank Holiday Monday.

Saturday will see the usual town centre celebrations with lots of free family activities such as a treasure hunt and children's workshops. There will be market stalls, food and drink and fun and frolics. Dancing from local schools and Morris teams, all culminating in the traditional reading of the will of Thomas Tuke, and the throwing of bread rolls from the church spire.
Throw in the usual fantastic music and arts performances and impromptu sing arounds in local hostelries Wath Festival 2023 promises to pave the way for another 50 years of a true community event.
