About
WATH FESTIVAL 53 years of Music, Arts and Community Events
Begun in 1973 by Wath Morris, Wath Festival has gone from strength to strength. From headline acts and household names to encouraging local and unknown artists it is a three day celebration of music and arts. 2026 sees the 53rd anniversary of this well loved community festival. As usual there will be a full programme of events from the Friday night concert to a family Ceilidh on Sunday afternoon finishing with a closing performance on the Sunday.
Free family activities such as a treasure hunt and children's workshops. There will be market stalls, food and drink and fun and frolics. Dancing from local schools and Morris teams, all culminating in the traditional reading of the will of Thomas Tuke, and the throwing of bread rolls from the church spire. Throw in the usual fantastic music and arts performances and impromptu sing arounds in local hostelries Wath Festival 2026 promises to pave the way for this amazing community event.
